Team India’s fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s father died on Thursday. He also breathed his last at his residence in Meerut. Bhuvi’s father Kiran Pal Singh was 63 years old and was suffering from cancer.
According to a report by ESPNcricinfo, Bhuvi’s father had been undergoing treatment for a long time, but was admitted to the hospital after the condition worsened two weeks ago. Bhuvi’s father was also discharged from the hospital on Tuesday and returned home. But after two days of bad situation, he died.
During the IPL 2020, Bhuvi was first diagnosed with his father’s cancer.
During the IPL 2020 in the UAE, Bhuvneshwar Kumar came to know for the first time that his father was suffering from cancer. Due to his father’s poor health, Bhubaneswar left the IPL from UAE and returned home for the last time. You know, Bhuvi is a part of Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL.
Bhuvi is not part of the team on England tour
Team India is going to tour England on June 2, but Bhuvi is not part of the team in this tour. Actually Bhuvi has not been included in the Test team for a long time. Bhuvi last played a Test match against South Africa on 24 January 2018.
